Spring 2002 Gianni Versace Butter Soft Fringe Ivory Leather Jacket – Shrimpton Couture

This is a slightly less intricate version of the Look 20 jacket that Carmen Kass wore on the Spring 2002 runway. Vogue's review of the collection said in part 'Versace's collection could have been designed specifically for Lopez and her fellow members of the red-hot diva society.' This was specifically noted since the then newlywed Lopez showed up to attend this show and caused a bit of a stir. I love this jacket and I think it is even better in person. It was a touch too small on my dress form so is not sitting exactly how I would have liked it to. You also don't get the sense of movement from the fringe that runs down the front that you do when you see it on and in person. The leather used is butter soft and the fringes
