Shiki is a young, enthusiastic and rowdy monster hunter who is just starting out. But while most hunters belong to a single guild and only venture into specified hunting territories, Shiki is different. Unlike others, he bears the seal of the forbidden hunter, and as such he only has one goal: to defeat the Forbidden Dragon of Light, Miogaruna.
