Riku certainly seems laid back in spite of what's going on.Those cards are extremely important to collect in the Kingdom Hearts action RPG. Each card has a different ability, and the battle system is based around unleashing these abilities. If Sora has a number of cards in his hand, he chains these cards together to release powerful magic. Extra points are earned if the cards Sora uses are more powerful than those of his opponents. Like in any Square Enix game, he also buys an extra card or two from a friendly Moogle. He is able to use it against an enemy in the next fight if equipped.Riku has his own story in this original installment of Kingdom Hearts. All of the attacks Riku uses are different from those of Sora as well. He's selectable along with Riku in any of the miniature games inside of this PS2 title. Watch out, though, because Riku uses a dark card here and there to summon devastating powers. You need all the help you can get when you go up against Ansem. When you're ready for the miniature games, put this disc in your PlayStation and watch the time fly by.
